Summary
2wayplayer is a sports drafting game. We keep the data we need to run your account and your games, and nothing more. There is no advertising, no marketing tracking and no sale of personal data.
What we collect
- Account data. Your email address and a password you choose. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are stored only as salted hashes — we never see or store your password.
- Profile data. The username you pick, which is public on leaderboards and in matches.
- Gameplay data. Your drafts and picks, team scores, finished results, badges, career title, and 1v1 match records.
- Device identifier. A random ID stored in your browser so an unfinished draft, and results created before you signed up, can be linked back to you. It is not tied to your hardware and carries no personal detail.
- Technical data. Ordinary server and error logs produced when your browser talks to us, such as request timing and error messages.
We do not ask for your real name, date of birth, address, phone number or payment details, and we do not collect location data or contacts.
Why we use it
- To create and secure your account, and to let you sign in and reset your password.
- To save drafts in progress and to score finished rosters.
- To pair you with an opponent in 1v1 and to resolve matches.
- To show public leaderboards, usernames, titles and badges.
- To detect abuse and to diagnose and fix errors.
What other people can see
Your username, career title, badges, team scores and 1v1 record are public inside the game. Your email address is never shown to other players.
Service providers
We use a managed backend platform for authentication, our database and server functions, and a managed hosting provider to serve the site. They process data on our instructions in order to run the service. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
How long we keep it
Account, profile and gameplay data is kept while your account is active. Unfinished draft sessions and expired matchmaking entries are cleaned up automatically as the game runs. Technical logs are short-lived.
Your choices
- You can change your password at any time from the sign-in flow.
- You can ask us for a copy of the data tied to your account, or ask us to correct or delete it.
- You can clear your browser storage to drop the device identifier, though this also drops any unfinished draft on that device.

Children
The game is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
Cookies and storage
We use only essential browser storage. Details are on the cookies page.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the effective date above and, where the change is significant, note it in the game.
